Carole King
Carole King got her start as a Brill Building songwriter, working with her first husband, Gerry Goffin, to pen more than two dozen '60s classics, including "One Fine Day" and "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow." King broke through as a solo artist with her 1971 album Tapestry, which spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, the most by any solo female artist up to that point.
