Call of Duty: WW2 beta is open to Comcast Xfinity subscribers without a pre-order

Subscribers of Comcast Xfinity can join the Call of Duty: WW2 private beta this weekend without pre-ordering the game.

Comcast announced the news this week, as part of a new partnership with Call of Duty publisher Activision. The promotion covers both beta weekends, on PS4 and Xbox One.

All you need to do is head over to this portal between August 21 and August 31 and enter your Comcast account number. You'll get an access code and instructions on where to redeem it.

This is good news for those who don't want to put money down early, seeing as it's currently the only way to get into the beta.

The first beta round is exclusive to PS4, and takes place this weekend. Then, the following weekend sees the beta available on both PS4, and Xbox One.

A PC beta has been confirmed, but it does not yet have a date.

In the Call of Duty: WW2 private beta, you'll be able to play three game modes on three maps, in addition to the new Warmode. The new Divisions system will also be available to test.
