In the video above, Eurogamer's Digital Foundry compares the earliest known footage of The Last Guardian with the first public trailer, its re-reveal and the final game on PS4 and PS4 Pro.
Although the game's design was shaped by its origins as a PS3 title, The Last Guardian features a number of rad effects and impressive tech, and as the video notes, it's kind of amazing it ever came out at all. Maybe we can forgive its performance issues.
It's really interesting to look back on the almost decade we've been waiting for The Last Guardian and to have it in our hands now. Sony and the core of Team Ico really made good on a promise many companies would have quietly shelved.
