Fortnite giant face locations - find the desert, jungle, and snow giant faces

Fortnite's new season has begun and one of the challenges in the first week has us seeking some giant faces on the rock formations. They can be a bit hard to spot, but you only need to be nearby all three of them for the game to tick off that particular location. This guide will go over all of the giant faces that you need to visit in order to complete the challenge.

With the game being the global sensation that it is, there's a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important "Victory Royale", but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Head over to our Fortnite guide hub for every single thing you need to get started. Alternatively, you can head back to our Fortnite week 6 challenges guide for an overview of all the weekly challenges for this Season in Fortnite.

Giant faces locations map

Above is the map showing the locations for all three giant heads. You don't need to visit them in any order, but it's best to get them out of the way as soon as possible. It's therefore recommended that you try to drop onto these points at the beginning of each match. You need to visit all of them to complete the challenge and we'll be going into more detail on each one's location below.

The Jungle biome head near Sunny Steps.

Jungle giant face - Sunny Steps

Towards the east of Sunny Steps, there are two mountains with towers on top of them and a zipwire leading from one to the other. If you go to the top of the lower tower and look towards the higher one, you should see the head. Note that you don't actually need to see the mountain face for the challenge progress bar to tick up, rather just be in the rough area of the mountain.

The snow biome giant head near Happy Hamlet.

Snow giant face - Happy Hamlet

The second one is the snow based one. This one is east of Happy Hamlet and can be quite difficult to spot. It's towards the first proper hilly part which occasionally has a chest right on its head. The head itself is on the south-eastern edge, looking out towards the sea and can be difficult to spot. Thankfully you don't need to be looking at it for it to count.

The desert biome giant head south of Paradise Palms.

Desert giant face - Paradise Palms

Finally there is the giant head in the desert. Far south of Paradise Palms, there is a small abandoned town on the western side of the river, close to the edge of the map. It's just off the road that leads towards Lucky Landings. Overlooking this small town is the final head, which faces north. This one is perhaps the easiest one to spot, given that it has a commanding view of the local area.

This concludes our giant faces locations guide, but there's plenty more challenges to complete in Season 8.
