Fortnite expedition outpost locations: all expedition outposts

There are just a few more weeks of Season 7 of Fortnite left, but there are plenty of challenges to complete before then, including visiting all of the Expedition Outposts. They're easily found just by looking at the map and keeping track of which ones you've visited, but if you need it, this guide has all the locations in one place, as well as some things to take note of when doing this challenge.

Please note that this page is for a challenge that is no longer active in Fortnite. For a full list of currently active challenges, please go to our Fortnite week 6 challenges page.

With the game being the global sensation that it is, there's a lot to learn about not only getting that all-important "Victory Royale", but also the changes to the map as the seasons progress, and the challenges you can seek to complete. Head over to our Fortnite guide hub for every single thing you need to get started. Alternatively, you can head back to our Fortnite week 6 challenges guide for an overview of all the weekly challenges for this Season in Fortnite.

Visit all Expedition Outposts

This one requires a little more planning than the rest of the challenges in Week 7, but the idea is to visit all the Expedition Outposts. There are seven of them in total, all visible from the map as red shacks with pluses. You only need to visit the outposts as well, meaning that you don't need to even land a plane or get off a vehicle for it to register. The map above has all the locations circled and you can even scroll into the map (mouse wheel by default in the map screen, find the big red buildings in question, and stick a way point on there to follow. It couldn't be simpler. However, if you need some more guidance of where on the map to look, these are the locations you need to keep track of:

Lonely Lodge outpost

The hill directly west of Lonely Lodge. It has a few ziplines leading up to it.

Pleasant Park outpost

The hill north-east of Pleasant Park, which can be easily accessed from ground level close to the town.

Snobby Shores/Pleasant Park outpost

The canyon south-west of Pleasant Park and east of Snobby Shores. This one is a bit hidden away, but is close to the abandoned factory.

Happy Hamlet outpost

The big hill north of Happy Hamlet. There are several ways to reach the summit and it's surrounded by trees.

Dusty Divot outpost

The centre hill west of Dusty Divot. This one is slap bang in the centre of the map, so is hard to miss.

Lazy Links/Tomato Temple outpost

On the slope west of Tomato Temple and south-east of Lazy Links. The river flows between Tomato Temple and the outpost.

Paradise Palms/Fatal Fields outpost

Between Paradise Palms and Fatal Fields, where the desert is about to run out.

This concludes our Expedition Outpost guide, but there's plenty more challenges to complete in Season 7. Week 8 brought with it a challenge to find yet another Battle Star, this one close to Wailing Woods, so check out our guide to finding the location described by the clue "Search between a mysterious hatch, a giant rock lady, and a precarious flatbed".
