Make the virtual outside beautiful with The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle

Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle asks not what you can do for your Sims, but what your Sims can do for their world

Dying to go outside? Well, can’t do that yet, but the latest Sims 4 expansion pack is designed to help create a better world. The Sims 4 Eco Lifestyle releases on June 5 and is all about that green living.

This isn’t the first Sims 4 expansion pack with conservationist themes. Last summer’s Island Living featured a conservationist career, along with island clean up actions and stuff pack Tiny Living emphasized tiny homes and minimalism. Eco Lifestyle will take the concept to a new level, with alternative energy sources, sustainable materials, and community efforts to change their neighborhoods. Also announced for this pack is the new Civil Designer career path and the Freelance Crafter option. Yes, this Sims pack basically allows you to be an in-universe Etsy seller.

The pack also introduces a new world, Evergreen Harbour. Much like in Island Living’s Sulani, which has an environmental impact and cleanup score, Evergreen Harbour will be directly affected by Sims’ choices and actions. Switching to alternative energy, upcycling clothes and furniture, and coming together for community change will affect Evergreen Harbour’s physical environment. Ignore these choices and the world will become more and more polluted.

The Eco Lifestyle expansion will release on June 5 on Windows, Mac, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.
