To get Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s post-game legendary Pokémon, you’ll need to find stakes all over Paldea, then pull them out of the ground. For Chi-Yu, a dark- and fire-type fish Pokémon, you’ll need to grab all the blue stakes in the northeast part of Paldea. Chi-Yu is locked in the Firescourge Shrine.

There are eight stakes to pull out. All you have to do is interact with them. Once you do so, you’ll hear a “mysterious cry,” after which you can interact with the shrine to battle Chi-Yu. It will be at level 60.

The Firescourge Shrine is located in the spot marked below. However, if you grow close to the history professor at school, she will mark these shrines on your map, allowing you to fly directly to them. We highly recommend doing that.

Firescourge Shrine is actually in a cave. Follow the water up the waterfall and into the cavern to access it (if you’re not flying straight to it).

Below, we list out all the stake locations for Chi-Yu’s blue shrine. We number the stakes for the sake of organization, but you do not have to pull them out in any specific order.

Why we like itPokémon Scarlet and Violet introduced a fun narrative with multiple story arcs for different companions. The open world gameplay was also fun and refreshing, despite needing a bit more polish. If Scarlet and Violet are what future Pokémon games will expand upon, we’re excited about that future.
