Animal Crossing’s Sanrio items and villagers are perfect

Coming on March 26 to Target

OK, Nintendo announced in January that it’d re-release its Sanrio and Animal Crossing crossover pack, but the company just showed off exactly how good the cards are. On Twitter and YouTube Thursday, Nintendo posted a two-minute video that showcases all the new additions the Sanrio cards will bring to Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

“From Hello Kitty, My Melody, to Keroppi, get ready to discover new residents, styles & items inspired by adorable Sanrio friends,” Nintendo tweeted from the Animal Crossing account.

All six cards come together in the single pack, which will be available starting on March 26 at Target. If you like the looks of any of the items or villages in the video above, you’re going to want to move fast — the collection looks incredible, adding new character-themed items and outfits.

Rilla, Marty, Etoile, Chai, Chelsea, and Toby were all previous available in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, via an exclusive Sanrio crossover pack. Scanning those cards on Harv’s island simply added some Sanrio posters to the game. The posters are good and very cute, but nothing compared to the new items coming with the cards. I mean, Toby — based on Sanrio’s Keroppi — has a Japanese garden-styled bridge with moving water in his house.

The New Horizons and Sanrio collaboration packs will cost $5.99.
