Minecraft’s new Star Wars DLC adds The Mandalorian and Baby Yoda

The galaxy far, far away looks blockier than we remember

Minecraft is heading to a galaxy far, far away. New Star Wars-inspired skins, planet dioramas, and more are now available in Microsoft’s sandbox game.

Shortly after the return of The Mandalorian for Season 2, a whole host of Star Wars skins have finally arrived in one of the world’s most popular games. The pack is 1,340 Minecoins — between $15-20 — and includes a new map, skin pack, texture set, UI, soundtracks, and reskins.

Star Wars by Minecraft includes Minecraft items from the original Star Wars trilogy (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi) and The Mandalorian. The pack includes 12 different planet dioramas — including Tatooine, Endor, Hoth, Nevarro, and Sorgan — that players can travel between using “Hyperspace.” The trailer above features numerous Star Wars characters, both well-known and niche, as well as some recreated set pieces and battlefields from the films.

There are a total of 36 Star Wars-themed character skins including The Mandalorian, Luke Skywalker, and Leia Organa. Players can also pilot unique Star Wars vehicles like Speeders, X-Wings, and Mando’s Razor Crest.

The Star Wars skin pack is out now on the Minecraft store.
