Konami’s Pro Evolution Soccer series returns in September with its 19th edition, under a slight name change. It’s now called eFootball PES 2020.

Otherwise, this is the standard, full title soccer fans have come to expect. This year’s edition will promise a revamped version of Master League, the franchise’s full-team career mode. There will also be a brand new mode called Matchday, though Konami didn’t provide any additional details for that. The UI has been overhauled, too.

eFootball PES 2020 launches Sept. 10, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC (and Sept. 12 for these platforms in Asia). Lionel Messi, having graced the front for Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, 2010 and 2011 before defecting to EA Sports’ FIFA 13, 14, 15 and 16, returns to the cover. His appearance is part of PES’ ongoing partnership with FC Barcelona, one of the few big-time licenses Konami still has for this series. Barça has feature presentation throughout the game, with special attention shown to their home pitch, the Camp Nou.
