Konami confirmed the final lineup for its upcoming Contra: Anniversary Collection on Tuesday, revealing that the collection will pack in 10 titles, including the Probotector games released in Europe.

Ten 8-bit and 16-bit classic Contra games in one package



The collection will boast Contra series classics like the NES port of the original Contra and Contra: Hard Corps for the Sega Genesis. They’ll join previously confirmed games like Contra (arcade), Super Contra (arcade), Super C (NES), and Contra 3: The Alien Wars (Super NES).

The Probotector games were specific to Europe and Australia, and replaced protagonists Bill Rizer and Lance Bean with robotic soldiers, RD-008 and RC-011. Probotector is based on Contra: Hard Corps, while Super Probotector: Alien Rebels is based on Contra 3: The Alien Wars.
IGN reports that the Japanese versions of six games in the collection will be released as part of a free update.
Contra: Anniversary Collection is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One this summer. The Contra compilation will succeed the already released Konami Anniversary Collection: Arcade Classics and Castlevania: Anniversary Collection.
