Toy manufacturer Bandai has opened up pre-orders for a Pokémon pillow based on Snorlax on its Japanese online store. Fans can put money down for the 52,000-yen (about $456) cushion ahead of its August release from now until March 31, according to a press release.

Standing at four-foot-nine and weighing in at 26.5 pounds, the Snorlax cushion is a little smaller than lifesize. According to its Pokédex entry, Snorlax is typically six feet, 11 inches tall and tips the scale at over a thousand pounds. It's also known as the Sleeping Pokémon; in the role-playing games, the monster spends most of its time in a deep sleep until the player acquires a special instrument to wake it up.

Despite its diminished stature, Bandai's plush Snorlax looks like a suitable bedtime companion — if not a full-on bed replacement, depending on your own size. The company has not announced a Western release for the item, however. U.S. gamers can instead look forward to other Pokémon goods launching in honor of the series' 20th anniversary, including 3DS Virtual Console re-releases of the original games and collectible toys based on legendary Pokémon.

Pokémon trainers worldwide will also get a new game to play in the series later this year: Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. To learn more about the series' currently available titles, check out our timeline of the major Pokémon games or our explainer on some of the most notable spinoff games.
