This mods tries to combine Ultra Interior Lighting and ELFX to gain from both mods

Hello Ladies and Gentleman,

When modding your Fallout 4, did you ever struggled at the choice, which Lighting mod you wish to coose? Ultra Interior Lighting or Enhanced Lights and FX? I did and i couldn´t play without both because both have some big pro´s.

So i investigated both mods and asked myself? Why not merge them (sort of)

But what does this mod different than just having both ELFX and UIL loaded in your load order anyway? Here´s the thing:

ELFX has in my opinion the more atmospheric and supierior looking lighting indoors but Ultra Interior Lighting covers far more interior cells and the DLC. Both cannot be loaded just after another in save ways because especially ELFX deletes and adds new light fixtures and soucres and you would have both mods overlapping each other.

So this are the features of this mod:
  • Almost every interior cell is touched
  • ELFX cells and style over UIL
  • Much fewer conflicts between both mods
  • Optional ENB Lights HDR Overhaul compatible

But why do i need a patch for ENB Lights HDR overhaul anyway?
When using ENB Lights HDR and ELFX for example, you will have the problem of Light Fixtures which actually glow but not really emit light. That looks really annoying in my opinion. So when i could i deleted the fixture or added a light source to it.

Requirements:

Enhanced Lights and FX


Installation:
Install with Vortex or Mod Organizer 2 or any other mod manager which supports FOMOD installer

Make sure that all esp files are active.

Make sure to use the correct load order for this:
ENBLightsHDRPatch.esp
UltraInteriorLighting.esp
EnhanchedLightsandFX.esp
ELFX_ENBLight_Patch.esp


Compability:
Interiors Enhanced or Fr4sson´s Light Tweaks
Mutilated Dead Bodys


Incombabilites:
Every mod which alters ingame lighting or cells may be incompatible.


FAQ´s:

Q: There are still in cell x/y light fixtures without emitting light sources?
A: Please report this in the bug sections with following informations:
  • Do you use only ELFX + UIL?
  • Do you use ENB Lights too?
  • Does any Light Fixtures in your LO overwrites the vanilia ones?
  • Which name does the cell have?
  • optional Screenshot or description, where to find the buggy Light Fixture exactly.

Q: Will you create a merged patch where Ultra interior Lighting has the top priority?

A: This is not planned yet.

Q: In DLC or Boston are still buggy interior cells:
A: These are currently not double checked by myself, please be patient and i may fix them in the future.

Last Info:
Please have in mind, that this patch is still in eeeearrrrly BETA phase and quite the undertaking because i have to check every ingame cell and light source by myself. I may have missed some or screwed them up maybe If you have a better idea how to be more successfull than me, i am all ears. Also this was a little side hobby for myself. I choose at which speed i fix or develope the mod further. I Just want to be nice.
