Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Single-Player & Cooperative mod

Last month marked Return to Castle Wolfenstein's 22nd anniversary, but also Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Single-Player & Cooperative's second! And yesterday, we celebrated both of these achievements with an exciting new announcement! Get Psyched! 🎉

Announcing 'Ice' expansion - coming next year!

Five months ago, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Single-Player & Cooperative's first expansion, Warbell, was released to the public, officially initiating the recently revealed Season Pass project, which was born from the partnership that was established in 2022 with Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory mapper and friend kemon, that allows me to use the sources for his various maps and remasters for story-driven conversions.

When the aforementioned Season Pass was revealed, it was also announced that the release schedule of the expansions would be decided to the community – by voting for the Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory custom map to be converted next, in a Google Forms poll. Today, I'm excited to announce said second expansion arrives next year, and will be based on Ice's remaster, as voted by the community! Woohoo!

kemon's Ice remaster, of which we had produced the trailer (showcased during the Return to Castle Wolfenstein 17th Anniversary Event), was released back in 2018 for ET: Legacy.

Initially a Return to Castle Wolfenstein expansion developed by Splash Damage, developers of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Ice likely remains the most-iconic multiplayer map of the series - from the layout of the map to its objectives and scale. In other words: a masterpiece.

Set after the events of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the Central Europe campaign of Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Single-Player & Cooperative and Warbell, and based on the scenario of Ice's remaster, the conversion's story will take our favorite OSA strike team on an urgent mission near Deathshead's old X-Labs in Norway! And this is just the tip of the iceberg!

I think it goes without saying, but Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory Single-Player & Cooperative was no piece of cake to make.
