Thanks to its USB it is super simple to manage my samples, and could modify them directly super fast and intuitively. I've been able to play around with the Volca Sample for some time now, and it's an incredibly powerful groove-box. It was very simple to just pick up and play with, and for such a small device it definitely proves capable; I'd recommend it to both beginners as well as experienced trackmakers for certain. I love the workflow of sampling and I use it a lot in my music, the Volca Sample provides the user with great tools to tweak, shape & place samples. It's definitely my favorite hardware sampler at the moment.

The volca FM was my first volca, and it’s still my favourite. I have loved FM synthesis long before I even knew what it was, especially digging countless of Sega Megadrive game sound tracks from my childhood, which is a sound that is very relatable. Making full fledged FM available in a small format with a dedicated sequencer to mess it up, is super fun. Out of all of my videos, the tutorial that I made about the volca FM is by far the most viewed one. There’s a lot of love for the volca FM, and also a lot of people wanting to learn how this mystical frequency modulation thing works.
