Rihanna (real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty) was born and raised in Barbados. Her birthday is Feb. 20, 1988, and her height is 5'8". She got her start when at age 15, she met producers Evan Rogers and Carl Sturk, who introduced her to Jay-Z, leading to her signing with Def Jam. She released debut album Music of the Sun in August 2005, which debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Her first single, "Pon de Replay," was a hit, reaching No. 2 on the Hot 100. Rihanna would go on to earn multiple No. 1s on both charts, reaching the summit with 'ANTI' and 'Unapologetic' on the albums tally, as well as "Rude Boy," "Work" with Drake, "Umbrella" with Jay-Z, "Love the Way You Lie" with Eminem and many others on the songs list. Besides the aforementioned artists, Ri has also collaborated across genres with Calvin Harris, Britney Spears, Paul McCartney, Shakira and others. She's won many Grammys, including best rap/sung collaboration for "Umbrella," "The Monster" and "All of the Lights," as well as best rap song for "Run This Town." Rihanna's career has also moved into the film realm, with the artist starring in movies such as 2012's 'Battleship,' 2014's 'Annie' and 2018's 'Ocean's 8.'
