Metro Boomin

Born Leland Tyler Wayne in St. Louis, Metro Boomin’s birthday is September 16, 1993. He became one of the most in-demand producers on the contemporary hip-hop scene before he even reached 30 years old, and his Rolodex of frequent collaborators includes 21 Savage – with whom he made joint album ‘Savage Mode II’ – as well as Future, Young Thug, Offset, Drake, Travis Scott, Kanye West and The Weeknd. He scored his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 in 2018 with debut record ‘Not All Heroes Wear Capes,’ which he followed up in 2022 with ‘Heroes & Villains,’ also a Billboard 200 chart-topper. Not sure which tracks he’s worked on? Listen out for his well-known producer tags, the most famous of which is probably, “If young Metro don’t trust you, I’m gon’ shoot you.”
