Janet Jackson

Janet Jackson is a multi-talented musician who went from being "Michael's little sister" to a generation-defining pop star in her own right. Her birthday is May 16, 1966 and her height is 5’4”. After debuting in 1982 with her self-titled LP, Jackson officially found her stride when she scored her first of five straight No. 1 albums on the Billboard 200 with 1986’s ‘Control,’ which spawned her first No. 1 hit, “When I Think of You.” Her list of Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers spans into the double digits, with her longest reign being her eight-week run in 1993 for “That’s The Way Love Goes.” Legendary for breaking down barriers for Black women in the music industry, Jackson eventually started her own record label Rhythm Nation in 2015 and released No. 1 album ‘Unbreakable’ under the imprint. A multi-Grammy winner, she was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019.
