The Weeknd and Ariana Grande‘s “Save Your Tears” spends a second week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The track, originally released solely by The Weeknd on his 2020 album After Hours, topped the tally for the first time a week earlier following the release of its remix with Grande.
Plus, Doja Cat‘s “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA, hits the Hot 100’s top five, rising 6-5; The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus soar from No. 23 to No. 8 with “Without You,” following the arrival of its remix with Cyrus; and Billie Eilish debuts at No. 10 with “Your Power.”

“Save Your Tears,” released on XO/Republic Records, holds atop the Hot 100 with 22.4 million streams (down 26%) and 9,600 downloads sold (down 47%) in the week ending May 6, according to MRC Data. It also attracted 68.5 million radio airplay audience impressions (up 1%) in the week ending May 9.
A week earlier, following the April 23 release of its remix with Grande, “Tears” surged by 111% to 30.4 million streams and 265% to 18,000 sold.
The track dips 2-3 on Radio Songs and 2-5 on Streaming Songs and falls from No. 1 to No. 4 on the Digital Song Sales chart.
“Leave the Door Open” by Silk Sonic, the duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, holds at No. 2 on the Hot 100, four weeks after reaching No. 1. It logs a fourth week at No. 1 on Radio Songs (80.9 million, up 5%), while leading Hot R&B Songs for a seventh week and Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for a third frame; both charts use the same methodology as the Hot 100.
Justin Bieber’s “Peaches,” featuring Daniel Caesar and Giveon, keeps at No. 3 on the Hot 100, six weeks after it debuted at No. 1. The song claims the Hot 100’s top Airplay Gainer award for a sixth consecutive week (up 15% to 70.7 million).
Dua Lipa’s “Levitating,” featuring DaBaby, hits a new No. 4 Hot 100 high, rising from No. 5, as it continues to be a prominent source for soundtracking clips on TikTok. It likewise ranks in the Radio Songs top five for the first time (7-4; 51 million, up 16%, after previously peaking at No. 6 in January; it hit a weekly high of 55.4 million in February). It reaches a new No. 2 best on Digital Song Sales, up from No. 4 (10,900, on par with its total a week earlier), and keeps at its No. 6 peak on Streaming Songs (21.8 million, up 2%).
Doja Cat’s “Kiss Me More,” featuring SZA, ascends to the Hot 100’s top five, lifting 6-5 with 25.9 million in airplay audience (up 12%); 25.6 million streams (up 6%); and 5,300 sold (up 13%). Doja Cat notches her third top five Hot 100 hit, among three top 10s, and SZA makes her first visit to the top five, among four top 10s.
Polo G’s “Rapstar” descends 4-6 on the Hot 100 after arriving and spending its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1. It rules Streaming Songs (29.5 million, down 15%) and the multi-metric Hot Rap Songs ranking for a fourth week each.
Masked Wolf’s “Astronaut in the Ocean” returns to its No. 7 Hot 100 best, from No. 8, as it becomes his first No. 1 on Digital Song Sales (2-1; 12,500, down 1%).
The Kid LAROI and Miley Cyrus’ “Without You” blasts from No. 23, its prior best, to No. 8 on the Hot 100 following the April 30 release of its remix with Cyrus. It hits the top 10 with 12.5 million streams (up 54%) and 8,500 sold (up 254%) in the week ending May 6, good for the Hot 100’s top Streaming and Sales Gainer honors. It also drew 43.5 million in airplay audience (up 9%) in the week ending May 9. It surges 50-5 on Digital Song Sales for its first week in the top 10 and concurrently hits the Radio Songs top 10, roaring 13-6. On Streaming Songs it re-enters at No. 21, likewise a new high.
“Without You” further rises 3-1 on both the multi-metric Hot Rock & Alternative Songs and Hot Alternative Songs charts, becoming the first leader for each artist on the surveys.
The Kid LAROI posts his second Hot 100 top 10 and first in a lead role, after “Hate the Other Side,” by Juice WRLD and Marshmello featuring Polo G and The Kid LAROI, debuted and peaked at No. 10 last July.
Cyrus (credited on the Hot 100 on “Without You” for the first time, as the remix accounted for the majority of the title’s consumption activity in the tracking week) adds her 10th Hot 100 top 10, including one under her Hannah Montana alter ego. Her top 10s, in order of peak date, prior to “Without You”: “See You Again” (No. 10, 2008); “7 Things” (No. 9, 2008); “The Climb” (No. 4, 2009); “He Could Be the One” (Hannah Montana; No. 10, 2009); “Party in the U.S.A.” (No. 2, 2009); “Can’t Be Tamed” (No. 8, 2010); “We Can’t Stop” (No. 2, 2013); “Wrecking Ball” (No. 1, three weeks, 2013); and “Malibu” (No. 10, 2017).
Six-cess: Meanwhile, “Without You,” already the most common title of a Hot 100 top 10 over the chart’s 62-year history, extends that mark, as The Kid LAROI and Cyrus take the sixth song by that name to the bracket. It follows top 10s titled “Without You” by Johnny Tillotson (No. 7 peak, 1961); Nilsson (No. 1 (four weeks, 1972); Motley Crue (No. 8, 1990); Mariah Carey, who remade Nilsson’s hit (No. 3, 1994; listed on the chart with B-side “Never Forget You”); and David Guetta featuring Usher (No. 4, 2011).
Lil Nas X’s “Montero (Call Me by Your Name)” retreats 7-9 on the Hot 100, five weeks after it launched at No. 1.
Rounding out the Hot 100’s top 10, Billie Eilish’s “Your Power” debuts at No. 10 following its first full week of availability. Released at 12 p.m. ET April 29, it enters the chart with 22.2 million streams and 4,500 sold in the April 30-May 6 tracking week. It also drew 9.6 million in airplay audience in the week ending May 9. It starts at No. 4 on Streaming Songs and No. 18 on Digital Song Sales.
Eilish earns her fifth Hot 100 top 10 and third to debut in the top tier. “Bad Guy” entered at No. 7 in April 2019 and spent a week at No. 1 that August. Her next four top 10s have all reached the region in either their first or second weeks on the chart, as, prior to “Your Power,” “Everything I Wanted” vaulted from No. 74 to its No. 8 peak in November 2019 following its first full week of release; “My Future” launched at its No. 6 peak in August 2020; and “Therefore I Am” rocketed from No. 94 to its No. 2 best in November 2020 following its first full week of availability.
“Future,” “Therefore” and “Your Power” are all on Eilish’s LP Happier Than Ever, due July 30. Her previous studio set, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, debuted atop the Billboard 200 in April 2019; it spent three weeks at No. 1 that April-June and has logged its first 109 weeks on the chart in the top 40 (this week rising 30-24).
