Season 5 of The Masked Singer is off and running, though one contestant fell at the first hurdle.
On Wednesday night (March 10), we met the five performers from Group A: Russian Doll, Snail, Seashell, Raccoon, and Porcupine.
After each singer showed their stuff, viewers and panelists then cast their votes. And it was Snail who came unstuck.
After performing “You Make My Dreams (Come True),” originally a hit for Hall & Oates, the slimy guy was the first to lift his helmet.
In one of the biggest surprises of them all, it turned out Snail was Kermit the Frog, the first non-human contestant on The Masked Singer.
Niecy Nash is guest host of the Fox series. A former guest panelist on the show, Nash takes the mic following regular host Nick Cannon’s COVID-19 diagnosis.
