It’s official: Cardi B is pregnant, and her baby bump got a formal debut on Saturday Night Live.
During “Be Careful,” her second song of the night, Cardi rolled through the first few measures of the track with only her upper body filling the screen for viewers tuning in. The camera eventually pulled back, revealing that Cardi’s elegant white evening gown was indeed showcasing her pregnant belly. Christian Siriano designed her dress for the occasion, and took to Twitter to congratulate the rapper shortly following her performance.

Cardi will likely share more details about the happy news on Monday (April 9), when she co-hosts The Tonight Show alongside Jimmy Fallon.
Cardi is engaged to Offset of Migos, who proposed to her onstage in October 2017. After the SNL credits rolled, Offset shared his happiness on Instagram and thanked their fans for the immediate support: “We feel so blessed.”
The announcement comes just a day after she released her first studio album, Invasion of Privacy, which is poised to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, according to music industry analysts. The album includes her already-released singles “Bodak Yellow,” “Bartier Cardi,” “Be Careful” and “Drip,” and features appearances from Kehlani, Chance the Rapper, YG, Bad Bunny, J Balvin and SZA.
