“She tells a story through song that so many people can relate to,” says Terri Thomas, operations manager for adult R&B station KMJQ in Houston. “The fact that she delivers it like a classic R&B power ballad made it an easy decision for us to add it to our playlist.”
The crowning climb adds to a long list of airplay charts that “Hello” has conquered. It previously topped: Pop Songs, Adult Alternative Songs, Adult Contemporary, Adult Pop Songs, Dance/Mix Show Airplay, and the all-format Radio Songs chart.
