'Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age' Has Sold Over One Million Copies on the PS4 Worldwide
"Final Fantasy XII" for the PlayStation 4 has officially passed the one million mark.
"Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" has now sold over one million copies on the PS4. This is according to an announcement made by Square Enix regarding the milestone that the game has achieved. While this may seem like a no big feat to some gamers, it should also be noted that "Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" is only an HD remaster of the original game first released on the PlayStation 2 about a decade ago. Arguably, the game is also considered as one of the best role-playing games (RPG) games of all time.
First released in July of this year, "Final Fantasy XII" has sold over one million copies worldwide, combining both digital and physical sales. For a remaster, the game has done considerably well, and it looks like Square Enix is extremely happy about the accomplishment as they have released a new illustration for the game designed and created by none other than the environmental artist Isamu Kamikuryo. Not only that, Square Enix has also released a remaster of the game's original demo trailer, which has retained the defining qualities that made the game so popular back during its heyday.

"Thank you to all the fans for helping us reach this milestone. We are overwhelmed with the response from both new players and fans of the original," "Final Fantasy XII" producer Hiroaki Kato said in a congratulatory message to the game's fans.
"Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age" tells the story of the magical land of Ivalice and its warring kingdoms. As the kingdom of Dalmasca is conquered and subjugated by the Archadian Empire, street urchin Vaan and his childhood friend Penelo must help Princess Ashe free her kingdom and restore peace and order once and for all.
