PS4 Pro launched in November 2016, and provides 4K support for many PS4 games that have received a patch. It’s also said to run faster and improve framerates. Incoming PS4 firmware update, v4.5, also adds a PS4 Pro Boost Mode, which can also enhance graphics on games that haven’t received a specific patch upgrade.
