Injustice 2 Achievements Leaked (SPOILERS)

The complete list, including four secret achievements, can be found here. Thanks sinkfla87!

The achievements are standard fare for a NRS fighter, but do confirm a few unannounced features and modes, new to Injustice.

We have confirmation of alternate story paths, Guilds, Portal events, the Battle Simulator (likely this game's Hall of Justice, an extended gallery including character models, costumes, endings and artwork) and the final unannounced character,
the Joker
.

Nice to see that there is no win 3 or more online matches in a row achievement on that list.

I spy a teabagging achievement in that list. So that will be annoying to see.

Ugh. Seriously. Way to help make your own game more toxic. (I know there was similar stuff in MKX, and it was just as stupid).

So the story has jumped the shark. It was nice while it lasted.

I fail to see how his inclusion translates to the story jumping the shark. We know nothing of the context behind his inclusion. He might not even be part of the story, flashbacks and fear visions aside.

I just don't trust comics to handle this sort of thing properly.

Hahahahahaha! I love it! I want every bitter player who didn't want him back to think about a character they really wanted to make it in or come back, and then seeing him sitting there, grinning at you from the character select screen, knowing that he took the last base roster slot. It's too delicious for words, I can barely contain myself!

This isn't a comic though.

Well I'd love to be wrong so let's see how it goes. I'm also not loving the trailers implying that Superman and Batman end up being forced to team up against Brainiac. The first game set such a high bar that I'm skeptical they can meet it this time around.

Joker
has been leaked for months.
Though I'd imagine that Joker's appearance in the game would either be in flashbacks within the story, a Fear Gas illusion, or non-canon entirely.

the Battle Simulator

Don't tell me they are actually putting a CPU vs CPU watch/theater mode in there? If so my prayers have been answered!

The achievement is "View all character endings in the Battle Simulator" which sounds like it's just the name of this game's version of the arcade mode ladders. The main menu is Batman standing in front of a computer, so that name would fit.

I think it's more likely a new version of the Hall of Justice, based on the described character endings in the achievement text. You could be right though. We'll find out for sure after the FB stream.

Or this actually:

I didn't consider arcade mode because I thought it had already been announced.

While I don't know where the story for sure is heading... I think what we will get is when Brainiac begins his invasion, everyone will know that Batman can't protect them on his own so there is a push to free him for help. Does he free him? Does Superman redeem himself? Does he use this opportunity for selfish means? What will Superman do if he does defeat Brainiac, will people still want Batman as their leader? Etc, etc, etc.

I think narratively the story in I2 will be WAY better.

Yeah, you are probably right. Man...is a simple CPU vs CPU feature so hard to think of, if you alreay have player vs CPU in there, or is it so hard to implement? Games like Soul Calibur and DOA have those too. Many people enjoy them...

"Battle Simulator" really sounds like CPU vs CPU spectator mode. Damn you NR Studios! D:

Oh, I don't know. I didn't think they gave a name for arcade or battle mode was called, but I could be wrong.

You could be wrong, but I don't think you are. Arcade mode is the most plausible translation for Battle Simulator given it has its own character endings.

Maybe it's harder to program two AI to show a decent match than one might expect? Most of the games where I've seen AI vs AI modes, it's just pretty random stuff, and not that interesting of a match. However, I do think it goes into an attract mode in MKX with two AI if you let it sit. Also, in MKX if you set the AI in practice mode to the hardest level you'll see some longer combos. I guess it depends on their priorities. My guess is it's pretty low.

It does seem obvious though isn't it? That would be like saying that Superman is going to be in Justice League in spite of not seeing him yet. We'll see what happens though what happens with him. Definitely would be nice to know how he is going to play and how characters are going to react to him. Especially Superman.
