"To be completely honest, I don’t know what the next console is past Scorpio. We’re thinking about it. We’re looking at consumer trends and what the right performance spec and price would be, and [asking ourselves], 'Can we hit something that has a meaningful performance characteristic that a gamer would care about?'"Questions have lingered about whether Microsoft will stick to its promise that there will be no Scorpio-exclusive games for Xbox One in the future, to which Spencer said "it’s not our plan, honestly", likening the need for games to run on both the original Xbox One and Scorpio to the standard practice of having both recommended and unbounded specifications for PC games.
Recently, Spencer tackled another concern, Scorpio's price - to which he said it "will feel like it’s a premium product, a premium console. And not something, anything more than that."
