Leave it to Green Day to find a way to make a singles collection poke you in the eye. The Rock Hall of famers do it again with the upcoming (Nov. 17) 22-track compilation Greatest Hits: God’s Favorite Band. The name is rooted in their Mar. 22 performance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, when God introduced the band as his favorite before they came to the stage to perform their single “Still Breathing.”
According to a press release, the album will feature twenty of the band’s biggest songs “from the dawn of creation” in 1986 to present day, as well as the new song “Back In The USA” and a duet with country superstar Miranda Lambert on “Ordinary World.”

The new album comes at the close of Green Day’s Revolution Radio world tour, which ends on Nov. 19 in Mexico City. The band played Global Citizen Festival on the last day of their North American leg, churning out their best protest anthems “Know Your Enemy” and “Holiday,” ad-libbing “I’m not a part of dumb Trump America” during “American Idiot.” All three songs are featured on the upcoming release.
Green Day previously released a greatest hits album, International Superhits!, in 2001. Eight tracks from the 2001 compilation will be repeated on the new release, including such iconic singles as “Basket Case,” “When I Come Around,” “She” and “Warning.”
Physical pre-orders are available on the band’s website. View the album art and full track list below.
