6LACK is finally ready to share the follow-up to his acclaimed 2016 album FREE 6LACK next month. The 26-year-old announced on Wednesday (Aug. 29) that East Atlanta Love Letter would be arriving on Sept. 14, in addition to unveiling the anticipated project’s candid artwork. Select fans were first in the know, receiving custom postcards directly from 6LACK featuring various questions surrounding love.
The momentous album cover finds the “Ex Calling” artist in the kitchen on daddy duties with his daughter, Syx Rose Valentine, who’s being carried on his chest in a baby holder while he’s actively in the zone of recording music in an improvised studio.
The special postcards sent to exclusive fans’ houses saw the project’s artwork on the front with the unique messages to the flip side. “Nicole, how do you know you love someone,” one read. “What’s the craziest thing you’ve done for love,” said another posted to social media.

Back in June, 6LACK released “Switch,” where the Interscope Records artist copes with heartbreak. He also dropped off the cathartic “Nonchalant” earlier this month (Aug. 17), but neither are confirmed to appear on the soulful crooner’s sophomore effort.
Additionally, the Atlanta native announced his own headlining global tour a couple weeks ago (Aug. 14). The East Atlanta With Love Tour will hit 34 cities and kick off on Oct. 5 in South Africa before coming stateside in November.
