Toei Animation and Mojang have partnered to bring Dragon Ball Z into Minecraft with a new DLC pack that drops players straight into the World Martial Arts Tournament. The bundle recreates classic DBZ arenas inside Minecraft and adds a range of combat-focused content to Bedrock Edition.
Inside the DLC you can play as a roster of beloved characters — including Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Bulma, and Trunks — and compete in 1v1 duels, cooperative matches, or 5v5 team battles. Matches begin in a Minecraft interpretation of Kami’s Temple, where you select your fighter and prepare for the tournament.
Each fighter brings signature abilities into the blocky arena: Goku can unleash a Kamehameha, Vegeta and others use moves like the Galick Gun, Ki Blasts appear as ranged attacks, and the Ultimate Final Flash has also been adapted for gameplay. Combat animations and special moves have been tuned to fit Minecraft’s aesthetic while keeping each character’s feel recognizably DBZ.

The DLC reconstructs a variety of iconic locations — from the Gizard Wasteland and the Cell Games arena to Planet Namek — using Minecraft’s block palette. If you want to step away from combat, the Capsule Corporation offices are also faithfully represented as a place to explore and relax.
Beyond the tournament experience, the pack includes cosmetic content for personal realms and servers: a set of character skins (currently including Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Vegeta, Bulma, and Frieza) plus a Scouter headband accessory. According to Toei Animation’s press materials, the Scouter headband is being offered for a limited time.
The Dragon Ball Z DLC is available now for Minecraft: Bedrock Edition at the price of $8.99 (1,510 in-game coins).
