“Yandex Music” Introduces “Trailers” – A Tool for Discovering Music Through Short Clips
“Trailers” operate based on a neural network that extracts the most characteristic segment of a composition by analyzing the track’s sound – beats, downbeats, and vocals – and determining the boundaries of verses and choruses.
“Trailers” are available for individual tracks, as well as for albums, playlists, and artists. They can be launched via a button on the artist, album, or playlist page, as well as by long pressing on the desired content in various sections of the app.
Listening to “Trailers” will not affect recommendations in “Yandex Music,” so users can explore more new music without worrying about the selection in “My Wave.”
If a track is liked, it can be favorited directly in the “Trailers,” saving the full version to their media library. There is also an option to quickly switch to the full listening experience using the “Listen Fully” button.
This new feature is already available in the mobile and desktop applications of “Yandex Music.”
