When asked whether more original Xbox games will be added to Game Pass, Ronald declined to make announcements today but hinted that there are significant plans in the pipeline for next year.
“In 2026 it’s the 25th anniversary of Xbox,” he explained. “We want to celebrate our legacy and history while also defining where the Xbox ecosystem is headed. I can’t confirm or deny specific requests right now — stay tuned. We have a lot of exciting things to share next year.”
Is Microsoft’s first ever handheld Xbox console worth the wait? | BBC News – YouTube

There’s an air of mystery. Xbox executives have been talking more about the company’s future direction and hardware — for example, Xbox president Sarah Bond hinted in October that the next-generation console will be a “very premium, very high-end, curated experience,” and that some of that thinking can already be seen in devices like the Xbox ROG Ally handheld.
Whether Ronald’s comments point to imminent hardware reveals is unclear, particularly since the questions were about Game Pass. Still, references to “defining the future” and a slate of “exciting things” make for an intriguing prospect — we’ll have to wait to see what Microsoft unveils.
