Xbox Asks in Survey How Fun ‘Ghost of Yotei’ Is — Fans Ask If That Means an Xbox Release

Unsurprisingly, players responded with plenty of questions. One user asked whether this could signal an Xbox release. Another comment suggested they hoped PlayStation IPs might eventually come to Xbox with Gamerscore support.

That said, the survey itself doesn’t confirm a port. One user observed they’ve seen similar Xbox surveys about other PlayStation franchises that almost certainly won’t appear on Xbox (examples mentioned include God of War and Astrobot).

It’s also possible Xbox is conducting broader market research into player interest for games with the same tone or mechanics as Ghost of Yotei, rather than surveying specifically about Sucker Punch’s release. As one commenter speculated, if feedback is overwhelmingly positive, Microsoft might be encouraged to commission a similar original title.

All told, this remains ambiguous — a direct Ghost of Yotei port to Xbox seems unlikely, but the survey could simply be probing demand. Microsoft has been open to multi-platform strategies lately, though whether Sony would reciprocate is another conversation entirely.
