The children’s group split the track with their own “Fruit Salad”
The Wiggles covered Tame Impala’s “Elephant” for Triple J Radio’s Like a Version cover series in Australia. The children’s entertainers interpolated their countrymen’s Lonerism track with their own classic “Fruit Salad,” with the band’s bassist donning a fake elephant head throughout. Check it out below.
Tame Impala appeared on Triple J’s Like a Version themselves in December, performing Edwyn Collins’ “A Girl Like You” and “Breathe Deeper” from last year’s The Slow Rush. The band are releasing a 10th anniversary edition of their debut album Innerspeaker on March 26.
