Watch the reveal trailer for Call of Duty: Vanguard

The latest Call of Duty game has its first full trailer. The trailer’s release came during an Activision stream on Thursday, where the company revealed Call of Duty: Vanguard. Vanguard is developed by Sledgehammer Games and is set to come out later this year.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is set in World War II and its story is spread out across the entire expanse of the massive war. Much like older games in the series, Vanguard will have a campaign that unfolds across multiple different point-of-view characters. This time around, each character will participate in the war from a different theater of the conflict including North Africa, the Eastern Front, the Western Front, and the Pacific.

The trailer gives us brief flashes of hundreds of troops parachuting down from planes in what could only be the D-Day invasion. It also includes glimpses of massive dog fights that seem to be happening on the coast of Pacific Islands, and massive tank battles that could only occur on the sands of North Africa. The trailer also shows off Stalingrad under German siege.

Call of Duty: Vanguard will be released on Nov. 5.

At the same time Vanguard is being shown for the first time, Call of Duty publisher Activision Blizzard faces wide-ranging allegations that it maintains a toxic workplace environment that is particularly hostile to women. A lawsuit, filed by California’s Department of Fair Employment and Housing in July, alleges the company pays women less, subjects them to sexual harassment, and that perpetrators are not meaningfully punished.
