If you need a reason to dive back into Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, the new Reclamation update is a perfect opportunity. It’s free, available now, and adds a host of content — including six hero weapons, eight armor pieces, and an all-new PvE operation.
Beyond the usual balance and performance improvements, the update’s centerpiece is the PvE Reclamation Operation. Players will board the derelict Wrath of Espandor to face off against a dangerous Tyranid Prime.
Stratagems Mode also receives new battlefield conditions. One example shown in the trailer is a condition called “Migraine” — enemies will explode when you land a headshot, inflicting damage to nearby combatants. All of these features are currently available for PC players.
Players who own the second season pass can claim two new DLC bundles of cosmetic content. The Blood Angels Champion Pack includes a tactical champion outfit, a Blood Angels jump pack skin, and a chainsword skin, while the Salamanders Cosmetic Pack focuses on armor variants.
You don’t need an excuse to play Space Marine 2, but a fresh operation and a new boss fight are always a welcome addition.
