Vulnerability in AirPlay Discovered, Allowing Device Control
Experts from Oligo have discovered a vulnerability in millions of AirPlay-enabled devices. This includes smart speakers, televisions, and TV boxes, which could serve as entry points into home or corporate networks.
The exploit, named Airborne, allows attackers to gain control over an AirPlay-enabled device, and then connect to any gadgets in that network.
Apple has already released an update for all its devices. However, the main issue lies with third-party devices that rarely receive updates.
