Yesterday saw the “world’s first academic conference dedicated to all things Warhammer” — the event was held at the German university in Heidelberg
The conference featured over 50 presentations, where theorists, philosophers, and scientists, in addition to fiction writers, participated. They seriously discussed and analyzed various aspects of the Warhammer 40K lore.
For example, the panel “Tyranid Xenobiology Compared to Real Social Insects” was conducted by actual biologists.
