Valve confirmed through the annual Dota 2 match that its beta for Artifact can be held in October.
It’s been 5 years since Valve launched Dota 2, arguably the final main launch from the studio. Thankfully, the lengthy winter will lastly finish in November with Artifact, a digital collectible card game based mostly on the Dota 2 universe.
Of course, even Valve games want beta testing, and Artifact is not any exception. That’s why Valve confirmed via Twitter that The International 2018 and PAX West attendees will get a duplicate of the game that features October beta entry. There’s no affirmation whether or not an open beta can be held, however since Artifact isn’t free-to-play, it’s unlikely.
All Invitational attendees will get a free game code that features beta entry. Anyone at PAX West who joins the gameplay reveal can even receive game codes.
Artifact launches for PC on November 28, 2018. Android and iOS editions will comply with in 2019.
