FX Networks has introduced the documentary collection “Outlaw: The Saga of Afeni and Tupac Shakur,” a five-part collection exploring the lives of Tupac Shakur and his mom Afeni, an creator, activist, and former member of the Black Panther Party. The collection is directed by Allen Hughes, who final labored on the 2017 HBO docuseries “The Defiant Ones,” which adopted the intertwined lives and careers of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.
