The Witcher 4 Looks Stronger Than Ever as Former Baldur’s Gate 3 Developer Joins CD Projekt Red: “Time to Trade My Baldur’s Gate Dice for Polish Steel”

CD Projekt Red has continued expanding its development roster for The Witcher 4, and one notable new addition is Felix Pedulla — a cinematic artist who spent six years at Larian Studios working on Baldur’s Gate 3.

Pedulla brings extensive cinematic experience to CDPR. During his time at Larian he served as a senior cinematic artist on Baldur’s Gate 3, contributing to sequences that many players and critics have praised for their emotional impact and visual polish. Now he’s moved on to a new chapter, joining the team behind one of the industry’s most anticipated RPGs.

It’s easy to see why Pedulla is excited: he’s moving from one high-profile RPG to another, and he even joked about swapping his “Baldur’s Gate dice for some Polish steel” as he begins work on crafting cinematic sequences for The Witcher 4.

Fans will hope that his contributions help shape The Witcher 4 into something exceptional. For many observers it’s among the most anticipated projects in CD Projekt Red’s slate — and one of the biggest new RPGs currently in development.
