Students of Hayao Miyazaki released their anime
The anime adaptation of the manga “Kokon” premiered on Japanese television. The story depicts the end of World War II, when even university students and professors were mobilized to the front.
The animation is directed by Hitomi Tateno — a student of Studio Ghibli. The influence of the master can be seen in every frame of the work.
Whether a global premiere will take place is unknown, but enthusiasts are already working on their dubbing and subtitles.
