A live-action Legend of Zelda movie is on the way from supervisor Wes Ball – and, many thanks to his ditched Mouse Guard film, we could have a concept what it might appear like.

As initially mentioned by Discussing Film, the previz benefit Mouse Guard might be an idea to Ball’s vision for Zelda. After the movie was ditched, Ball launched around 9 mins of examination video online. The video showcases attractive, nature-heavy scenes – though with the caution that the previz is planned as a demo of just how the movie would certainly “feel,” not just how it would certainly look precisely, as Ball precedes the video clip. Check it out listed below.

Mouse Guard wound up a casualty of Disney’s merging with 20th Century Fox back in 2019. It’s a pity we’ll never ever reach see it when that previz sizzle reel looks so unique, however at the very least we’ll be obtaining Ball’s handle Zelda, Link and co.

Although, one point to think about is that the Zelda film will certainly be live-action, while Mouse Guard was mosting likely to be movement capture. Still, that does not indicate the Zelda film can not look as enchanting as Mouse Guard.

“I have been working on the live-action film of The Legend of Zelda for many years now with Avi Arad-san, who has produced many mega hit films,” Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto composed of the Zelda movie on Twitter. “I have asked Avi-san to produce this film with me, and we have now officially started the development of the film with Nintendo itself heavily involved in the production. It will take time until its completion, but I hope you look forward to seeing it.”
