The reboot of “Scrubs” has officially started production

The reboot of the sitcom is being worked on by the creator of the original seasons, Bill Lawrence, but his role in the new project is currently unknown.

The production is still in the early stages of development. Negotiations with the actors have just begun, and no one has confirmed their participation in the project yet.

According to the plans, 15 years later, the original characters are expected to return to the screens portrayed by the same actors. These include Zach Braff (John “J.D.” Dorian), Sarah Chalke (Elliot Reid), Donald Faison (Christopher Turk), and John C. McGinley (Perry Cox).

“Scrubs” aired from 2001 to 2010. During this time, the series not only became legendary among viewers but also received 17 Emmy nominations.
