Delivering results remains the only path to sustained returns; Take-Two focuses on consistent performance rather than resting on its laurels.
“When we post strong results, we don’t take a victory lap,” he continued. “We show up the next day and try to do it again.”
Those remarks were echoed in an interview with The Game Business, where Zelnick addressed how EA’s move to go private might affect Take-Two. “If a major competitor is no longer a public company, that could give us some competitive room,” he told the outlet. “On the other hand, we never take anything for granted.”
