Steve Earle has introduced a brand new album that includes covers of songs written by his son, the late Justin Townes Earle. Steve Earle and the Dukes plan to file the album in October, and they’ll launch it in January 2021 to coincide with what would have been Justin Townes Earle’s 39th birthday. According to a press launch, the entire artist advances and royalties will go to a belief for Etta St. James Earle, the daughter of the late songwriter. Further particulars and a precise launch date are but to be introduced.

Justin Townes Earle died on August 20, 2020 on the age of 38. His final album, The Saint of Lost Causes, was launched in 2019.
