Star Ocean: The Last Hope’s 4K remaster is out this week, so right here’s some gameplay footage

This is about as clear as 4K and HD Remasters come.

Later this week Square Enix will launch a brand new, remastered model of final era’s Star Ocean four, or to offer it its full, unwieldy and correct title Star Ocean: The Last Hope – 4K & Full HD Remaster.

Given that the sport is so shut, right here’s a brand new trailer with a bunch of the remastered gameplay footage on show – an effective way to determine for those who really feel the PS4 and PC launch goes to be value your time. The YouTube add has full 4K high quality, so make sure to set it to that for one of the best concept of the way it’s formed up.

If you don’t know a lot about Star Ocean: The Last Hope the primary factor you in all probability must know is that it’s one of many video games that knowingly or not goes in hardest on the anime cheese. The lead character known as Edge Maverick (no, actually) and it touches on each cliche you may think about. It’s a little bit of a polarizing title, however I like it as a B-tier sport in contrast to the newest Star Ocean, which was simply type of doubtful throughout the board.

The full-on doll-like anime artwork fashion lends itself effectively to being upscaled to 4K, so this can be a fairly clear, simplistic remaster – the identical stuff is being output at a better high quality, resulting in a brilliant crisp look. It doesn’t look dangerous in any respect.

It arrives on Steam and PS4 worldwide on November 28.
