Shroud also pointed out that the current playlist could be friendlier to more casual players. “If you don’t play a lot of games, are you just out of luck if this playlist disappears?” he asked, stressing how important balance and accessibility are for a broad audience.

Before the recent adjustments, aim assist and a heavy-handed implementation of SBMM frequently made matches feel drawn-out, depending on your setup. Even a seasoned FPS player like Shroud struggled on mouse and keyboard and found himself overwhelmed at times.

“On mouse and keyboard it’s over, I think,” he exclaimed in a prior clip, underlining how different playlist configurations can change the experience. With launch scheduled for November 14, the hope is that the game continues to improve.
