Scammers have started tricking lonely people on dating sites and locking their phones

This is done through the following scheme:

• The victim is found on a dating site and the scammer gains their trust;
• They ask the victim to log into their iCloud to “print important documents” or “install unavailable apps”;
• After downloading — the phone gets locked, and the scammers start demanding money for unlocking it and blackmail the victim.
