Sabrina Carpenter Hosts SNL, Performs “Manchild” and “Nobody’s Son”

Sabrina Carpenter returned to Saturday Night Live on October 18, 2025, serving a dual role as both host and musical guest to showcase selections from her latest record, Man’s Best Friend.
The 26-year-old pop artist delivered two memorable sets drawn from her seventh studio album, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in September 2025.
For the first number, Carpenter appeared in a moody bedroom tableau, clad in a white T‑shirt and pink SNL‑branded underwear. She danced across the set while performing the album’s lead single, “Manchild,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in late June 2025.
Later in the show she returned in a bedazzled white karate gi and black belt for a dojo‑themed rendition of the reggae‑pop track “Nobody’s Son.” The high‑energy performance included Carpenter breaking wooden boards; she also uttered two uncensored F‑words during the live NBC telecast and the Peacock simulcast. Those expletives were muted for the West Coast broadcast and in subsequent uploads, according to a New York Post report.
Although this episode marked Carpenter’s first time hosting SNL, she previously appeared as the musical guest in May 2024 and took part in the SNL50 special in February, where she performed with Paul Simon and featured in a sketch alongside Pedro Pascal.
Carpenter is currently on the Short n’ Sweet Tour, which doubles as promotion for Man’s Best Friend. She’s scheduled to return to Los Angeles for six additional dates, concluding the run on November 23, 2025.
