A brand new, authentic Resident Evil animated collection is coming to Netflix in 2021. On Sunday, Capcom and Netflix introduced Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness, which is able to concentrate on collection mainstays Leon S. Kennedy and Claire Redfield, as a part of Tokyo Game Show.
Capcom describes Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness as “an original CG anime series” with a horror-action vibe. “By adding suspense into dynamic action scenes, this series will reveal a Resident Evil world unlike anything seen before,” Capcom mentioned in its official description of the challenge. The collection’ first teaser trailer doesn’t provide many particulars past that.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness might be produced and supervised by Capcom’s Hiroyuki Kobayashi, a longtime producer on the Resident Evil collection, and producer of three computer-animated movies: Resident Evil: Degeneration, Resident Evil: Damnation, and Resident Evil: Vendetta. TMS Entertainment will produce the collection, whereas Quebico might be in control of the 3D CG animation manufacturing.
Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness is considered one of two Resident Evil initiatives within the works at Netflix. The different, a live-action show, will concentrate on Jade Wesker and Billie Wesker. Presumably, the 2 are the daughters of STARS captain, Umbrella Corporation goon, and Resident Evil central antagonist Albert Wesker.
